Wolves open playoffs Wednesday | Soccer

The second season starts Wednesday at 5 p.m. for the Coupeville High School soccer team when the Wolves host Meridian in the opening round of the district tournament.
Although Coupeville lost 6-0 to visiting Lakewood Saturday, Oct. 22, in the final league match to finish the regular season 1-15, its slate is clean for the playoffs.
Meridian comes to Coupeville with an 8-8 record after finishing seventh in the 14-team 1A/2A/3A Northwest Conference.
The Coupeville/Meridian winner advances to tri-district Saturday, Oct. 29; the loser is eliminated.
