Seniors lead Wolves to win | Volleyball

Four Coupeville High School senior volleyball players closed out their home careers with a 3-0 win over Sultan Thursday, Oct. 20.
The Wolves took the Senior Night win 25-17, 25-16, 25-12 over the winless Turks (0-13).
Senior setter Taya Boonstra helped classmates Katie Smith and Ali Trumbull collect six and five kills respectively, while senior defensive specialist Chelsea Hudgins guarded the back line for the Wolves.
Junior Bessie Walstad added seven kills and five aces; sophomore Makenna Martyn had four kills.
Coupeville (6-7, 7-7) wraps up the regular season at Lakewood (6-7) Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. and then goes to Lynden Christian for the district tournament Saturday, Oct. 29.
