OHHS grad McKole wins college honor

Central Washington University junior Carson McKole, a 2009 graduate of Oak Harbor High School,  was
named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's soccer Player of the Week for  the week of Sept. 19-25.
McKole took 12 of the Wildcats' 29 shot attempts in wins over Western Oregon (2-1) and Saint Martin's (1-0). She assisted the game's first goal against Western Oregon and then scored the lone goal with just 99 seconds left in the Saint Martin’s match.
