Lake Stevens blanked the visiting Oak Harbor High School volleyball team 3-0 Thursday, Sept. 15, in a nonleague match.

The 4A Vikings (2-1) strung together three close wins, 25-23, 25-19, 25-20, to stop the 3A Wildcats.

Coach Kerri Molitor said, "We didn't win tonight, but we did play better than we have been -- just need to put it all together."

Roshel Muzzall blasted 13 kills, Taylor Nienhuis served up 25 assists and Kayleigh Harper added four kills and seven blocks.

Oak Harbor (1-2) starts league action Tuesday, Sept. 20, at home with Marysville Getchell (0-3) at 7 p.m.
