Everett tops Oak Harbor 6-1 | Tennis

Oak Harbor lost its fourth straight tennis match by falling 6-1 to visiting Everett Wednesday, Sept. 14.

The Seagulls (4-1) swept the singles matches in taking the Wesco 3A win.

Oak Harbor's second doubles team of Ben Harrison and Will Southard nabbed the Wildcats' only win 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.

Other results:

Singles: 1, Carlos Neto Gioia lost 0-6, 2-6; 2, Carter Saar lost 1-6, 0-6; 3, Eric Berner lost 0-6, retired; 4, Harrison Miller lost 0-6, 0-6.

Doubles: 1, David Kusnick/Cameron Bester lost 2-6, 6-7(5); 3, Tom Dale/Jacob Nelson lost 1-6, 1-6.

Oak Harbor (1-4) heads to Lynnwood (1-2) Thursday, Sept. 15, at 3:45 p.m.
