Lake takes care of 'Cats | Swimming

Lake Stevens, winning nine of 12 events, stopped the visiting Oak Harbor swim team 101-85 Tuesday, Sept. 13.

The Wildcats collected wins over the Vikings (1-0) from Ciara Hu (200-yard individual medley, 2:21.93), Nicole Vogt (500 free, 6:17.54) and the 200 free relay team of Hu, Karina Concepcion, Therese Desquitado and Irysh Concepcion (1:21.91).

Oak Harbor earned seconds from Irysh Concepcion (200 free, 2:20.93), Karina Concepcion (50 free, 26.36; 100 backstroke, 1:05;.74), Angela Johnson (diving, 106.65; 500 free, 6:24.39), Hu (100 butterfly, 1:03.22), Tricia Desquitado (100 breaststroke, 1:22.63), the 200 medley relay (Therese Desquitado, Tricia Desquitado, Hu, Karina Concepcion, 2:02.99) and the 400 free relay (Irysh Concepcion, Vogt, Tricia Desquitado, Olivia Meyer, 4:24.63).

Oak Harbor (0-3) travels to Shorewood (1-0) Thursday, Sept. 22, at 3:30 p.m.

Third: Mollie Briddell, 200 free, 2:25.08; Vogt, 200 IM, 2:39.42; Meyer, 100 fly, 1:10.91, 100 breast, 1:23.08; Irysh Concepcion, 100 free, 1:00.42; Therese Desquitado, 100 back, 1:09.73.

Fourth: Sarah Baxter, 200 free, 2:34.95, 100 back, 1:26.94; Rachelle Muzones, diving, 79.7; Therese Desquitado, 100 free, 1:02.46; Briddell, 100 back, 1:12.56; 200 medley relay, Briddell, Meyer, Vogt, Johnson, 2:14.49; 200 free relay, Elizabeth Brooks, Baxter, Muzones, Alli Hoffmire, 2:13.33; 400 free relay, Johnson, Baxter, Muzones, Briddell, 4:48.3.

Fifth: Tricia Desquitado, 50 free, 30.07.
