NWLL falls in district opener | 9/10 softball

Host Sedro-Woolley defeated North Whidbey Little League 21-9 in the first round of the 9/10 softball district tournament at Janiki Field Tuesday, July 5.
North Whidbey takes on South Skagit Thursday, July 7, at 6 p.m. The winner advances to the championship round against Sedro-Woolley Friday, July 8, at 6 p.m. at Janiki Field.
In the loss to Sedro-Woolley, NWLL collected key hits from Brianna Cryer, Camryn Bristow, Sarah Ulam and Hannah Barnes.
Brooke Wilson and Barnes combined to turn in the defensive highlight with a double play.
