Laiblin, Bressler win in Junior Olympic meet

Oak Harbor’s Alex Laiblin and Hannah Bressler each won events at the Pacific Northwest USA Track and Field Junior Olympic Championships for Western Washington June 25 and 26 at the West Seattle Sports Complex.
Laiblin, running unattached, won the 1,500 meters (5:29.35) and the 3,000 (11:59.49) in the intermediate girls division (15/16).
Bressler, running for the Federal Way Track Club, took the 2,000 meter steeplechase (8:00.97) in the young women’s division (17/18).
