Although Clay Doughty pitched a three-hitter, the Oak Harbor Babe Ruth baseball team fell 2-1 to the Skagit Renegades at Mount Vernon's Sherman Anderson Field Wednesday, June 15.

The game was scoreless until the sixth when Oak Harbor mixed a hit batter, fielder's choice and error for a run.

Skagit tied it in the sixth with a run-scoring double, then won it in the seventh with two outs on two errors and a single.

Daniel Wolfe doubled for Oak Harbor, and Andrew Snavely, Brent Mertins and Ben Fikse had singles.

Doughty finished with eight strikeouts and five walks.
