Oak Harbor High School soccer player Michael Shevchuk was named to the first-team all-Wesco 3A squad to lead a list of Oak Harbor and Coupeville athletes who recently earned all-league honors.
Senior midfielder Shevchuk was a second-team choice last year.  Sophomore teammate Caleb Gatica-Cortes, a defender, was on the honorable mention list this spring.
Two Coupeville fastpitch players, junior outfielder-pitcher Alexis Trumbull and freshman second baseman Madi Roberts, were placed on the Cascade Conference honorable mention list.
Oak Harbor senior second baseman Abby Rankin, senior outfielder Nichelle Trumbull and sophomore catcher Shawna Steele were Wesco 3A fastpitch honorable mention choices.
The Oak Harbor baseball and golf all-league picks and the Coupeville baseball and soccer selections were announced earlier in the Whidbey News-Times.
