Baseball: Stout, Rosen earn first-team honors

Oak Harbor senior outfielders Jay Stout and Yale Rosen earned all-Wesco 3A first-team baseball honors this spring.
Stout is a three-time first-team honoree, and Rosen a two-time choice.
For the second consecutive year, senior outfielder Sam Wolfe earned second-team honors. He was joined on the second team by senior infielder Ryan Byrne and senior utility player Josh Evans.
Senior infielder-outfielder Justin Counts, junior catcher Sam Glavick and junior pitcher-infielder Gabe Clark were honorable mention selections.
Stout hit .476 (28-for-60), walked 21 times, scored 27 runs and stole 14 bases.
Rosen hit .500 (30-for-60) with six doubles, four home runs and 29 RBI.
Wolfe, who missed the final third of the season with a broken hand, hit .378. Byrne hit .397 with 14 doubles, and Evans hit .384 with 20 RBI.
