South Whidbey kept the Coupeville fastpitch team winless for the regular season by stopping the visiting Wolves 10-0 Thursday, May 12.
Coupeville coach Jackie Calkins said, "We just couldn't get our bats going early enough and didn't string any hits together to get on the board."
Autumn Stevenson collected two of the Wolves' five hits.
Coupeville (0-16, 0-12) plays at Meridian (6-13) Friday, May 13, in a district play-in game at 4 p.m. If the Wolves win, they begin district play Saturday, May 14, at noon at Sedro-Woolley's Janiki Fields.
