Girls golf: Wildcats 4th after round 1 of league tournament

The Oak Harbor High School girls golf team sits fourth after the first round of the eight-team Wesco 3A championship tournament Monday, May 9.

The second and final round begins Tuesday, May 10, at 1 p.m. at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club.

Glacier Peak leads the field with 191 Stableford points, followed by Shorewood (189), Everett (177) and Oak Harbor (173).

Annie Leete earned 45 points to pace Oak Harbor. Millie Goebel added 43, Mara Cortez 35, Sasha Olson 26 and Alyssa Siwa 24.

Cassie McKinley of Shorewood holds medalist honors with 64.
