McCardle, Voss take best-ball tournament

Eric McCardle and Tracy Voss joined forces to win the Whidbey Golf and Country Club two-person best ball tournament Saturday, April 30.
The pair started their round by birdying four of the first six holes on the way to a winning score of 66.
Ryan Elvebak and Jason Norton grabbed the net title by firing a 14-under 58.
Flight two winners were George Schmidt and Gary Van Cleve (gross, 74) and Marty Winn and Mike Corbley (net, 59).
Closest to the pin winners were John Henriot (No. 2), Steve Robinson (No. 7), Pat Ford (No. 13) and Mike Lacey (No. 17).
Robert Tercero (white tees) and Gary Boonstra (gold tees) took the long drive contest.

Flight one, gross: 2, Pat/Judd Ford, 69; 3 (tie) Sean Hall/Tercero and Lenny Thompson/Jim Chambers, 70.
Flight one, net: 2, Toby Wilson/Bob Tracy, 62; 3 (tie), Chuck Yurcina/Marv Seelye and Jeff Stone/Brian Wasinger, 63.
Flight two, gross: 2, (tie) Harold Olson/Eric Schelling and Tom Perry/Jeff Cornish, 75.
Flight two, net: 2, Joe Beatty/Mike Johnson, 60; 3, Terry Armstrong/Andy Bullington, 61.
