Sultan celebrated Senior Night by tripping up the Coupeville soccer team 3-0 Wednesday, April 27.
In an evenly played first half, the Turks (7-7, 7-6) converted a penalty kick after a hand ball in the box just before halftime.
Coach Paul Mendes said his club pressed hard in the second half, but a "great individual play" by Brian Ordonez put Sultan up 2-0.
Mendes said, "Give credit to Sultan...they were inspired and played very well...We played hard right to the end."
Coupeville (5-9-1, 4-9) wraps up the regular season at home with Lakewood (5-4, 4-8) Friday, April 29, at 6 p.m.
The Wolves open district play Thursday, May 5. The site and opponent have yet to be decided.
