Suffering its fifth one-goal loss of the season, the tough-luck Oak Harbor High School soccer team fell 2-1 in overtime to Mountlake Terrace at Lynnwood Tuesday, April 26.
The Hawks scored in the second overtime to pick up their first win of the season.
The Wildcats recorded 18 shots on goal but converted only Matt Jensen's try off an assist from Gavin Stewart.
Coach Brian Thompson said, "The opportunity was there to win and we didn't finish."
Oak Harbor (2-12, 2-10) plays seventh-ranked Shorewood (10-3, 9-2) Monday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the final home match of the season.
