Coupeville defeated Sultan in baseball Monday April 18; Wednesday the Turks returned the favor – and then some – by whipping the visiting Wolves 12-1 in five innings.
Sultan (4-8, 4-7) swatted 14 hits and scored in every inning to cruise by Coupeville.
The Wolves were held hitless by Cody Ohlsen until fifth-inning singles by Morgan Payne and Drew Chan.
Coupeville coach said physical and mental errors contributed to the loss.
The Wolves (2-12, 1-8) finish up the conference season next week with South Whidbey (1-13, 1-11). The two meet in Langley Monday, April 25, and in Coupeville Wednesday, April 27, at 4 p.m.
