Tennis: Oak Harbor rips Royals 6-1

The Oak Harbor tennis team crowned the Lynnwood Royals 6-1 Wednesday, April 20, in Lynnwood.
Both Cady O’Dell in first singles and Clarissa Abadesco in third singles blanked their opponents 6-0, 6-0.
Belen Cifuentes captured second singles 6-2, 6-1; and Jordan Faralan completed the singles sweep with a 6-4, 6-1 win in fourth singles.
In second doubles, Jennifer Bowers and Shoko Yamaguchi won 7-5, 6-2; and Jennifer Fremd and Molly Van Dam were 6-2, 6-0 winners in third doubles.
Alexa Holmly and Shannon Neilon fell in first doubles 2-6, 2-6.
Oak Harbor raised its records to 6-5 and 5-4; Lynnwood dropped to 1-10 and 1-8.
The Wildcats go to Meadowdale (4-5, 4-3) Friday, April 22, at 3:30 p.m.
