Girls golf: Oak Harbor takes 3-team match

Trimming one of Wesco's top teams, the Oak Harbor girls golf squad finished first in a three-team match under excellent conditions at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club Thursday, April 7.

Oak Harbor nipped Shorewood by a point, 92-91; Shorecrest trailed with 53.

Freshman Annie Leete was medalist and led the way for the Wildcats with 28 points in Stableford scoring. Millie Goebel had 20, Sasha Olson 20, Mara Cortez 13 and Marina Bankowski 11.

Oak Harbor will join Glacier Peak, Shorewood and Meadowdale at the Kenwanda Golf Course Wednesday, April 13, at 3 p.m.
