Rain washes out several ball games

Rain washed out several Oak Harbor and Coupeville athletic events last week.

The Oak Harbor High School nonleague baseball game with Marysville-Pilchuck scheduled for last Friday has been postponed until the end of the year. The date of the makeup game has not been determined.

Coupeville's baseball game with Lakewood originally scheduled for last Wednesday was rained out several times and a new date has not been set.

The Coupeville fastpitch game at Granite Falls scheduled for last Wednesday will be played Tuesday, April 5, at 4 p.m.  In another fastpitch schedule change, the Wolves game at South Whidbey slated for Wednesday, April 6, has been moved to Tuesday, April 12, at 4 p.m.

The March 30 tennis match between Coupeville and Granite Falls has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 14, at 3 p.m. at Granite Falls.
