Oak Harbor concludes the 2010 football season tonight, Nov. 4, in a nonleague, crossover match at Monroe at 7 p.m.
The Western Conference pairs up teams that did not make the playoffs for a final game so the schools can complete their 10-game schedules.
The Bearcats (3-2, 3-6) finished in a three-way tie for second in the Wesco 4A North with Lake Stevens and Marysville-Pilchuck behind Arlington (4-1). They were aced out of the playoffs via the tie-breaker.
The highlight of Monroe's season is a 24-21 win over first-place Arlington.
The Bearcats can score, averaging 22 points per game, but have a tough time stopping opponents, giving up an average of 38 per contest.
To win tonight's game, Oak Harbor will have to slow down Monroe's aerial show.
Joey Roppo is second in the Wesco 4A North passing ranks by just one yard behind Lake Stevens' Jake Nelson. Roppo has completed 127 of 263 passes for 1,700 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Receivers Jake Pratt (36 catches, 565 yards, six touchdowns) and Austin Muholland (29, 458, 1) are 1-3 in the Wesco North receiving standings.
Jordan Moore leads the ground game with 59 rushes for 393 yards, a 6.7 average, and seven touchdowns.
