After a series of tense and tough matches, the Coupeville volleyball team finally had a chance to coast over an opponent as the Wolves won 3-0 at Sultan Thursday, Oct. 21.

Coupeville won 25-10, 25-21, 25-10 over the Turks (0-13).

Coach Toni Crebbin labeled her team's play as "solid" in the win.

The Wolves (4-9, 5-9) wrap up the regular season at home with Lakewood (9-4) Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m., then they head to district at Lynden Christian next Saturday.

In the win over Sultan, Ali Trumbull led the way with seven kills with a "smart" and "well-placed" attack, according to Crebbin.

Kyra Ilyankoff and Jessica Riddle each had six kills, and Riddle added four aces.

Laura Chan finished with 18 assists.
