After dropping a girls soccer match to visiting King's 8-0 Tuesday, Oct. 12, Coupeville looks to rebound against South Whidbey at home Thursday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m.
The Wolves (1-9, 3-9) defeated South Whidbey (2-8, 2-9) earlier this year 2-1 for their only Cascade Conference win.
In the loss to King's (6-4, 7-4-1), coach Mike Thornton said his club had trouble controlling the ball and turned it over in "bad spots on the field."
Thornton said there were some bright spots: "They did play well and connected quite a few passes around on the field, just weren't able to finish the ball."
