North Whidbey Aquatic Club members Price and Ciara Hu were recently named to the 2009-10 USA Swimming Scholastic All-America Team made up of high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who have met the NCSA Junior National qualifying swimming standard and carry a GPA of at least 3.5.

Both attend Oak Harbor High School (Price is a senior and Ciara a junior) and carry 4.0 cumulative GPA’s.

Price’s and Ciara’s achievements represent the third consecutive year NWAC athletes have earned Scholastic All-America honors. Their older brother John started the streak in 2007-08 and continued it in 2008-09 before graduating. This year, 37 student-athletes from Washington State (12 boys and 25 girls) earned the award.
