Granite Falls blanked the visiting Coupeville volleyball team 3-0 Thursday, Sept. 23.
The Tigers won 25-14, 25-19, 25-20.
Serving, which was issue in earlier matches, was "much better," according to coach Toni Crebbin; however, the Wolves struggled to generate offense.
Kyra Ilyankoff pounded out seven kills, and setter Laura Chan handed out 15 assists.
Crebbin said, "I will be doing some fine tuning this weekend at the (South Whidbey) tournament and hoping we can change things around next week."
The South Whidbey tournament starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25. The Wolves return to Cascade Conference play when Sultan visits Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m.
