Tennis: Undefeated Meadowdale tops Oak Harbor 5-2

Meadowdale remained undefeated and atop the Wesco 3A boys tennis standings by defeating visiting Oak Harbor 5-2 Monday, Sept. 20.
The Wildcats earned wins in third and fourth singles from Brandon Vagt (6-2, 6-4) and David DeGuzman (6-2, 3-6, 6-2).
Ben Cardinal lost in No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-0; and Josh Evans fell in No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-1.
The teams of Max O'Dell/Geoff Worley and Eric Berner/Michael Serna dropped the top two doubles matches 6-0, 6-0.
In third doubles, Ben Harrrison/Will Southard lost 6-0, 6-1.
The Mavericks raised their record to 6-0; Oak Harbor fell to 1-5.
The Wildcats travel to Lynnwood today, Sept. 21, at 3:45 p.m.
