Where are the priorities?

Who, driving along Highway 20 would know, or care, that a small stretch is part of “Ebey’s Prairie.” When money for necessary needs, i.e. law enforcement support, road repairs, etc., can’t be found how can we justify paying for something that “isn’t broken” or needed, such as the fancy wood guardrails, when there are so many other more important needs to take care of our community?
