For your information and for the enlightenment of your readers ('Druid' child rapist, April 19): Druids do not condone this kind of deviant behavior in any way, shape or form. We are saddened that a man would choose to use the name of our beautiful spiritual path to justify a heinous crime. Throughout history sick minds have sometimes used religion as an excuse to perpetrate violence against the Earth and her creatures. That seems to be a human failing common to all cultures and nations. It is our sincere hope that this man and his victim will find the healing they so urgently need.
