Citizens of Whidbey Island, this is a call for volunteers. We need your help!

On May 1, Hearts and Hammers will once again fulfill its mission of helping to keep lesser-able folks in their homes. The strength and cohesion of our beloved island community, be it south, central or north, is a significant part of what makes Whidbey such a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.

Neighbors helping neighbors, not some stranger from a remote charity or a government entity, is the core of Hearts and Hammers and the Whidbey experience. In these tough economic times the needs are greater than ever, but not just in terms of those asking for help, but also in the desire of folks to connect with their community. Volunteer for a day and help keep Whidbey great!

Please volunteer online today at: www.heartsandhammers.com for South Whidbey, or www.centralwhidbeyheartsandhammers.com for Central Whidbey.
