As my years working in the Licensing Department at Oak Harbor Motors has come to an end, I would like to thank everyone who made my job fun, interesting and a learning experience.

Thank you to Nathan Whalen for the write-up in the paper, because of it I have heard from so many people who I’ve helped during the years.

I will miss the rapport I’ve had with so many wonderful customers and dealerships. We weren’t always able to help everyone with what they wanted as we had many laws and rules we had to abide by, but I did my best doing what I could.

I will certainly miss the military personnel; it was a privilege working with you. Often times it was saying goodbye as you finished up paperwork getting ready to go over seas, other times were much happier welcoming you back from deployments.

I will miss my boss and co-workers. We had some great times together, and a big “thank you” to all who attended my retirement reception. Having many from the An-O-Chord Barbershop Chorus come and sing was wonderful! The cards, gifts and congratulations I have received have meant so much. Seeing my name on the reader board at the Chamber of Commerce was a surprise and a delight, thanks! And last but not least, thanks to Helen Chatfield-Weeks for my Hip-Hip-Hooray!
