Island County Commissioners show good judgement with budget cuts
December 28, 2009 · Updated 11:25 AM
Dear commissioners John Dean, Angie Homola and Helen Price Johnson:
Having had serious conversations with you, in person and via emails, about numerous controversial financial issues, I can vow for your meticulous, informed decisions regarding budget cuts.
I have refrained from contributing to the serious discussions on what next because the majority of messages eloquently expressed my admiration for your courage, good judgment and stamina. Regardless of possible street
demonstrations and expressed outrage indoors, I encourage you to
trust your convictions based on research and meticulous analysis.
