Thanksgiving Day - Coupeville style – was indeed as its name proclaims. We are grateful to everyone who volunteered to set up, tear down, serve, clean and cook for the 11th annual holiday feast. We appreciate all who donated food or money.

To the 210-plus people who came and enjoyed the communal meal, thanks for bringing your favorite side dishes and desserts to share. If you are missing your holiday platter or a serving bowl, we inherited a few “extras” this year that can be claimed by calling Peg and Gordon Burton at 678-1667.

And finally, kudos to the Town of Coupeville for restoring the Rec Hall so that we all had a place to gather and celebrate the day. See you next year!
