Our family had the privilege of assisting the Oak Harbor Elks serve Thanksgiving dinner. The dinner the Elks provide is befitting of any family holiday dinner. Nothing was overlooked or left to chance. From the relish trays at the rear of the dinning room, to the fully stocked dinner line, and the pies, oh those pies.

We enjoyed the warm welcome we received as we checked in for our assignments and the many new friends we met while we worked. It was heartwarming to see the local restaurants and community businesses work together to offer a free holiday to anyone. With the economy struggling there is a lot of need for such a kind gesture. We hope to make this a family holiday tradition.

Thank You Elks, and the Oak Harbor businesses and community members that worked to create a Fabulous Thanksgiving feast!
