Where is this great hospital?

This is in response to the recent letter about Whidbey General and Tricare. I have worked at Whidbey General for almost 30 years as a RN. I have always obtained my health care at the hospital and since I no longer work full-time my health insurance is Tricare Prime.

I did have to change to a different health care provider because my physician’s office did not take Tricare Prime and some other local physicians do not take it as well. There are physicians on the island who do accept Tricare Prime and I have never had one issue with obtaining care and having it paid for by Tricare at Whidbey General.

I would love to know exactly what other hospital the letter of Nov. 4 is referring to since it is apparently so wonderful, yet a big secret. I would challenge anyone to prove the care is better at any other local hospital.
