When was the last time you enjoyed quality entertainment for two hours in Coupeville for just $5?

Well, I did by attending the Coupeville High School Drama Club’s production of “It is Unhealthy To Be Unpleasant.” A pleasurable show with a wonderful cast.

It was disappointing to me, and I’m sure the actors, actresses and production team, that the attendance was so low. These kids have done a wonderful job putting this play together and I encourage all in town to support the kids and have a fun night out seeing this play.

I, being an oldster of course, can’t help but recall being in school plays at Coupeville High. The whole town came out for a good time. Now it seems there are so many distractions it is hard to get a good turn out for much of anything.

Please do yourself and these talented kids a favor and attend next weekend, Nov. 20, 21 and 22, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the PAC at the Coupeville Middle School.
