"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." That's The Golden Rule. But religious extremists in our state would like to take away legal protections for couples they don't like. Imagine that some group wanted to take away your rights just because they didn't agree with your creed, or your religious beliefs. This election day, please stand up and show your support for the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you by voting to approve Referendum 71.

The 14th amendment to our United States Constitution says that "No State shall... deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." But religious extremists in our state would like to deny equal protection of the laws to couples they don't like. This election day, please stand up and show your support for our constitution. Stand up for equal protection under the law by voting to approve Referendum 71.
