I am writing this letter to encourage voters to re-elect Larry Morse as commissioner for North Whidbey Fire & Rescue.

I think Larry should be re-elected because of these important reasons:

1. Larry Morse is pragmatic with taxpayer dollars. As an example, I suspect that Larry would like to support a designated fire crew for the Monroe Landing Station. However, in these trying economic times, Larry understands that adding $200,000 of annual expenditures (to an already strapped budget) simple is not a prudent allocation of taxpayer funds.

2. Larry brings valuable real-world experience to the commissioner position. To be an effective leader, you must make good decisions consistently. Larry is prepared to make good decisions consistently because of the extensive life experience he earned while succeeding in the private sector.

In summary, Larry Morse is and has been the right person for the job. In respectfully urge you to re-elect Larry Morse, North Whidbey Fire commissioner.
