Traffic lights show lack of vision

When is Oak Harbor government going to manage the Highway 20 traffic entering and leaving the south end of town? It seems to me that the traffic lights could be synchronized to significantly reduce the back up. The last time I came through town, and I avoid it, I stopped at every light from the south. It was bumper to bumper because every light does its part.

Don't people realize this only causes people to avoid the city? How good is that for business? It is certainly not fair to the people around the town getting the bypass traffic.

Some day the town should get a mayor and city council with vision. I see no indication these people have an idea for the future of this town.
