Septic tax just another burden

I see the Island County Health Department is jumping on the bandwagon and charging a $62 tax if we comply with the new state law requiring septic tank inspections every three years.

Why bother to comply and incur another tax? This follows in line with the $126 tax to prove we have had water for 30 years to get a building permit. One thing more to level on the poor burdened public.
