Why did Smith, Bailey, vote against parks funding?

Why in heaven’s name would our 10th District Representatives Barbara Bailey and Norma Smith vote against a measure that allows vehicle owners the option to donate (or not) $5 toward the support of our Washington State Parks when getting car tags? This is not a legislative imposed tax. It is an individual voluntary choice.

In these poor financial times our state parks are needed more than ever for free recreation, entertainment, education, exercise and much more.

Please tell me your votes were not pure partisanship. Shame on you.
