Hundreds of islanders helped with their taxes

The IRS / AARP TAX AIDE Program served more than 2 million taxpayers this year and we are proud of the Whidbey Island volunteers that represented our community.

Local AARP volunteers served over 800 clients during the 10-week tax season in 2009. The volunteers spent 30 hours in training and then gave over 1,548 hours preparing and e-filing Federal Tax Returns: Our grateful thanks to the Whidbey Island Team:
