Maintain our emergency services
October 17, 2008 · 3:23 PM
I live at a busy intersection. Over the years there have been many accidents here (fewer since the intersection was reengineered). The promptness of response and professional attitude of the emergency personnel has been impressive. It has always given me a sense of security knowing that that same response would be there if I ever needed it.
The North Whidbey Fire and Rescue levy request on this coming ballot is only asking money to maintain the level of service we have enjoyed over the years. We need to do this. It is very little money for how much we get in return.
It could mean your life.
