Why do we love living on Whidbey Island? Isn’t it the island’s unique environment and atmosphere that keep us here? Growth is inevitable. Helen Price Johnson recognizes that and supports the Growth Management Act and planned growth that includes affordable housing and preservation of our fragile environment.

Helen Price Johnson will protect our island from those that would plant big boxes, build huge, pave over, and fill in.

Helen Price Johnson has the integrity and honesty to admit when errors are discovered and take steps to make corrections. Helen Price Johnson honors the spirit of the aims and goals of Ebey’s Landing National Historic Reserve.

Helen Price Johnson will provide a leadership in Island County government that will welcome and encourage citizen involvement. Helen Price Johnson will be respectful and considerate of resident and business issues, North, Central and South Whidbey and all Camano Island.

We can protect and preserve our environment on land and in Puget Sound along with meeting the needs of current and new residents and businesses with sound management and respectful leadership.

I urge you to join me and vote for Helen Price Johnson for County Commissioner, District 1.
