Mary-Margaret, stop wasting our transportation money!

How many people realize that WSDOT’s plan to “improve” SR 20 and the SR 20 spur at Sharpes Corner in Anacortes will cost us $23.4 million bucks?

It includes purchasing the Frontier Auto Outlet. Oddly enough, just to gain what they deem as “a few feet of access.”

It includes a hotly contested roundabout design proven acceptable.

There won’t be any improvement or “slow traffic” lane up to Whidbey Island(not for years).

This is pure pork barrel: Excessive, the wrong design and too expensive all the way around.

And in six months it will have caused more accidents than any of us have seen in 15 years!
