Apology offered for comment

I wish to apologize to Representative Bailey for the response I gave during an interview with the Whidbey News-Times. As quoted in the Oct. 1 article, my response seems critical of my colleague’s style of representing our district.

Representative Bailey and I are very different individuals who see our roles in serving the people of our district very differently. Representative Bailey works hard for her many supporters who agree with her positions and style of representing our district.
