On behalf of all of us at Island Transit, I would like say thank you to our Camano Island - Everett Connector commuters, and to tell you how completely overwhelmed we were by their generosity, kindness and sincerity in providing such a phenomenal surprise celebration on Sunday, Aug. 10, in appreciation of our Island Transit Camano employees and the Route 412 Camano Island - Everett Connector transit service.

Words simply can’t express our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful bus riders! These 412 folks are all fantastic supporters of going green in efforts to reduce congestion and pollution to help make our world and environment a better place to live for everyone. At this celebration, it was equally thoughtful that Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen was personally thanked for her unyielding support of public transit and for her efforts in obtaining the funding for the extremely popular cross county connector services.
