Confused in Oak Harbor

I’m just a little confused! In the primary using the top two, there were only two candidates for District 2 commissioner so both move to the general election.

In one of the the Superior Court races there were two candidates. You state that Judge Churchill wins, Platt loses, so only she moves to the general election.

I’m confused. Can you explain this so that I and some of your readers are not so confused?
