Letters to the Editor

Community pulls together for a worthy cause | Letters

Feed the Need would like to thank the local community for donating to our food drive last week Saturday, and helping to collect more than 2,300 pounds of nonperishable food items and more than $500 in cash for the North Whidbey Help House.

Also, a huge thanks to those in our community who volunteered to organize, collect, sort and deliver these items to the Help House.

It is indeed a pleasure to live in a community that works together, even in hard times, to help others in need.

Looking forward to next year’s drive. You can donateanytime directly to the Help House, 1091 S.E. Hathaway St. in Oak Harbor.
