Gay movie worth viewing

While you might claim you were being humorous I found your recent Editor’s Column “King Kong vs. Gay Cowboys” to be small minded and disrespectful.

Several members of my family, including my 82 year old mother, went to see Brokeback Mountain over the holidays and were all deeply moved by the depth, sensitivity and imagery of the movie. Mom said it was incredible. The movie transcends gender and sexual orientation. I would ask that you go see the movie and then write an editorial.
