Leave it to Bill Burnett (Letters, Aug. 24) to turn a positive for our schools and community into a negative.

While Burnett prefers to complain, his opponent for the Oak Harbor School Board, incumbent Gary Wallin, rolled up his sleeves and made a difference by participating in the event to spruce up the grounds of Oak Harbor High School on August 13.

As always, Gary Wallin is about pitching in and finding solutions. Please join us in supporting Gary Wallin as the right candidate for the Oak Harbor School Board.
